A WITNESS has described what he saw as a crash resulted in a person going to hospital and the two cars being severely damaged.

The collision caused queueing traffic on A65 Leeds Road in Guiseley at around midday.

It involved a black Honda and another silver car.

Police have confirmed one person was taken to hospital with minor injuries after they were called at 11.24am.

A witness said the collision was head-on.

Davlin Sutton said: "It was right in front of me.

"There was a pedestrian walking on the path and the car just missed him as it scraped down the wall.

"I got both parties out of the cars to the side of the road then I directed the traffic until the police turned up."
