The jury in the trial of a man accused of murdering a teenager when he collided with the back of a quad bike is set to resume its deliberations in the morning.

Jordan Glover is accused of deliberately running the bike off the road on Broadstone Way, Holme Wood, Bradford, on June 3 last year, killing its passenger, Rahees Mahmood, 18, and seriously injuring the rider, Tommy-Lee Haigh, 19.

Glover, 24, from the Thorpe Edge area of Bradford, pleads not guilty to murder; manslaughter as an alternative count; causing grievous bodily harm with intent; and criminal damage. He has admitted causing death by dangerous driving.

At shortly after 4.15pm yesterday, Judge Andrew Hatton sent the jurors home.

They are due to resume their deliberations at Bradford Crown Court at 10.30am today.
