THIEVES stole exhaust emissions control devices from three ambulances in an overnight theft on Monday.
The West Yorkshire Police reported catalytic converters were stolen from three Yorkshire Ambulance Service fleet vehicles that were parked in the car park at YAS NHS trust, Brindley Way, Wakefield overnight on Monday.
The targeted vans were all Renault Master vans.
A catalytic converter was also recently stolen from a 62-plate Honda Jazz in South Kirkby. This occurred on Ings Walk.
An exhaust emission control device that converts toxic gases and pollutants in exhaust from an engine into less-toxic pollutants.
Officers are also saying if you see someone acting suspiciously under a vehicle, report it to the police. Obtain as much information as possible, including any vehicle registrations.
