POLICE have issued an update after the discovery of a man's body this morning. 

Emergency services were called to the scene, next to the M606, just before 7am. 

A road closure was put in place while enquiries were carried out at the scene and it has now been confirmed the man's death is not being treated as suspicious. 

"Shortly before 7am today, officers located the body of a man on the verge of the M606 in the Odsal area of Bradford," said a West Yorkshire Police spokesperson.

"A scene and road closures were in place whilst enquiries were underway to establish the circumstances of the incident and the road has since been reopened.

"The death is not being treated as suspicious and the coroners' office have been notified."
