A MOTORWAY was partially blocked and traffic was queuing after a crash.
The collision happened on the M1 southbound carriageway, between junction 39 (Wakefield/Durkar) and junction 38 (Woolley/Huddersfield).
It was first reported at 4.15pm, according to the AA.
The blockage caused congestion until the accident was cleared at 5.38pm - just over an hour later.
Traffic began to ease at that point.
