A POLICE team have dealt with knives, a crow bar, drugs and a balaclava in "Bank Holiday hecticness" over the Easter weekend.
West Yorkshire Police's Operation Jemlock Team - the force's dedicated initiative for tackling knive and violent crime - were out in multiple areas over the past few days.
Officers in Bradford managed to find two suspects who were wanted in relation to a serious assault.
This was after the officers had been in Dewsbury, assisting units there with a male and a crow bar.
Meanwhile, officers in Leeds conducted a stop-search on a vehicle and driver.
They found knives, a balaclava and a significant amount of drugs during their search.
The driver was arrested, as a result.
A spokesperson for Operation Jemlock said: "BH hecticness didn’t disappoint - BD units locate two suspects from a serious assault after assisting in Dewsbury with a male and a crow bar.
"Leeds conduct a stop search on a vehicle and driver - find knives, balaclava & a significant amount of drugs. Arrested."
