ONE of the most wanted people in a district has been arrested over Easter.
West Yorkshire Police's Operation Jemlock Team - the force's dedicated initiative for tackling knife and violent crime - found a high-profile individual on their "BOLO" list last night.
"BOLO" is a police acronym for "Be On The Lookout".
The wanted person was one of the most wanted "BOLOs" in the Kirklees district.
Officers located and arrested the individual at around 7.50pm on Sunday evening.
They were arrested in relation to a number of high-risk domestic violence offences and on recall to prison.
A spokesperson for Operation Jemlock said: "Happy Easter. We just managed to locate and arrest the one of the most wanted BOLO’s in Kirklees.
"Arrested for a number of high risk DV offences and Recall to Prison."
