POLICE are "concerned" for a man who speaks little English and has been missing for 11 days.

Gheorghita Stan, 19, was last seen on April 7 in Leeds city centre.

West Yorkshire Police has issued an appeal to find Mr Stan and is "concerned for his welfare."

A spokesperson for the force said: "His first language is Romanian, and his knowledge of English is limited."

Mr Stan is also believed to frequent the Harehills area and has worked there previously.

He is described as being a white European male, with short blonde hair, blue eyes and is roughly 170cm tall (between 5ft 5ins and 5ft 6ins).

It is unknown what Mr Stan was last wearing.
