A BRADFORD woman has been handed a community order after admitting a string of driving offences.

Sabeela Bibi, 32, of Sahara Court, Bradford, faced charges of driving while disqualified and driving without due care and attention.

In addition she was charged with driving without a seatbelt and driving with a child passenger who was not wearing a seat belt.

Furthermore she was charged with using a vehicle on a road without third party insurance and a valid test certificate.

Bibi pleaded guilty last month to all six charges, which took place on December 24, 2021, on North Avenue in Bradford, when she appeared before magistrates.

She was also convicted of carrying out a further offence while a community order for offences of theft was in force. The order was revoked and she was resentenced.

As a result, Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court sentenced Bibi to a community order with a rehabilitation activity requirement of up to 30 days.

She was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and costs of £85, so £180 in total.

Bibi was also disqualified from driving for eight months, dating back to March 15 this year.

The hearing took place on Wednesday, April 13.
