Morrisons has donated hundreds of Easter eggs to homeless people in Bradford

The Bradford Soup Run teamed up with the supermarket to boost people's moods throughout the religious event

The Easter eggs will be handed out following a nutritious meal cooked and served by the community kitchen.

Morrisons General Manager Indie Chahal said: "We are very aware that life isn't easy for everybody and many people are finding things difficult. Once again, we are delighted to support a local charity which cares for those who are most vulnerable."

Vicky Girdlestone, a volunteer with The Bradford Soup Run, said: "These chocolate eggs will be a nice supplement to our already-nutritious meal and we know they'll be well received by those we meet on our Soup Runs."

Founded 38 years ago, The Bradford Soup Run provides food, clothing, blankets and encouragement to people who are homeless in the district.
