A SHIPLEY man has appeared in court charged with driving while disqualified.
Mark Baldwin, 20, of Central Avenue, has been given a community order and banned from driving for three months.
He was caught driving a motor vehicle on Leeds Road, Shipley, on December 16, 2021 while disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence. Disqualification obligatory by the court due to repeat offending.
Baldwin was also ordered to pay a £95 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
Under the terms of his community order he must comply with a rehabilitation activity requirement.
Baldwin was also ordered to carry out 80 hours unpaid work in the community over the next 12 months.
He pleaded guilty to the offence when he was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on March 31, 2022.
