FOLLOWING the success of the outdoor Makers’ Fair last year the Manor House is holding another Spring Makers’ Fair in the courtyard in May.

The event will take place on on Saturday, May 7 and Sunday, May 8 from 10.30am until 5pm.

A spokesperson said: "A number of makers will be selling their lovely hand-crafted work of jewellery, ceramics, garden furniture and textiles from the beautiful setting of the courtyard. Pop down and have a browse. There will be tea/coffee for sale too. A perfect way to shop.

"As the Fair is going to be held outside in the courtyard it will be weather dependent and so check the Manor House website to confirm that the Fair is going ahead.

"The Manor House is open at weekends from February 26 and is free to visitors. Donations are always welcome. For full details of the Spring programme at the Manor House go to www.ilkleymanorhouse.org."

Ilkley Manor House Trust is a registered charity and runs the listed medieval manor house in the centre of Ilkley as a heritage and arts centre.
