A DOUBLE header of stock car racing will be held in Bradford during the Easter weekend.

Odsal Stadium is hosting a number of stock car meetings this year, run by Yorstox.

Racing returns to Odsal for the third meeting of the season on the YorStox racing calendar on Saturday, April 16 from 5pm.

BriSCA F1 Stock Cars and V8 Stock Cars will take to the track at the home of the Bradford Bulls.

This will be followed by a further evening of action at Odsal on Monday, April 18, from 5pm.

BriSCA F2's are back for their second time at Bradford for the season, their first outing earlier this season brought nearly 50 cars.

Monday’s event will also be the first one of the year at Bradford for 1600cc National Bangers.

Younger drivers, aged between 10 and 15, will take to the track on the Yorkshire Shale of the National Ministox.

Advanced tickets are available from yorstox.co.uk/Tickets or directly by the FIXr website.

Once a ticket is bought via the site, spectators will receive a QR Code to the email address provided. This code will grant people access to the stadium on race day.

The Odsal meets will be held on Saturday nights and Bank Holiday Mondays over the coming months.

A YorStox spokesman said: “YorStox are pleased to be hosting an exciting weekend of what will sure to be action packed racing!”

“Why not bring along your family and friends to hear the roar of the V8 engines alongside the very talented youngsters, some of whom are only 11 years old, in the Ministox. They’ll be putting on some great full contact racing.

“I’m sure the kids, big and little, will love the banger racing, with a ramp race included as part of their show.

“Also, be in for a chance to win a prize with the purchase of our lucky programme - will it be yours??

“We look forward to seeing you there and have ordered the sunshine especially.”
