Bradford women are being invited to share their own written word and food dishes for an evening of sisterhood.
Taking place at The Sisterhood in the city centre, aspiring writers will be encouraged to reveal their poetry and stories to strangers and create new connections.
Drawing inspiration from Ramadan and Lent, women attending the interfaith event will be asked to bring along their favourite dish or snack.
It will be hosted by Spoke Poetry hub and The Sisterhood with topics of sisterhood, faith, solidarity and peace on the agenda.
The event will take place at 7pm on April 22, 2022, at The Sisterhood on 11 Upper Millergate.
Anyone is welcome to join the free event, though places are limited so booking is advised.
Bradford poet Sharena Lee Satti, a member of Spoke Poetry hub, said: "Sisterhood is an event that encourages and supports women and girls to share their stories and poetry in a safe inclusive environment. A beautiful space filled with creativity. A place to network and make friendships and to feel empowered and heard."
