FIREFIGHTERS were scrambled to a dramatic rescue from a quarry ledge this evening.
Crews were called to Livingstone Road in Wrose, Shipley, at around 7.30pm where two females were stuck 60ft up on the ledge.
A West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Fire service used specialist line rescue crews and equipment to lower them to safety.
"No injuries reported.
"Technical rescue unit attended from Cleckheaton along with supporting officers along with appliances from Bradford, Bingley, Stanningley and Leeds stations."
