A SPONSORED walk in aid of the people of Ukraine will be held tomorrow.
It has been organised by the Lower Wyke Moravian Church, Lower Wyke, and will run between 9.30am and 2.30pm.
People can start the walk at a time most convenient for them.
A spokesperson said: “The Lower Wyke Moravian Church wishes to raise money in support of the Ukrainian refugees that have been displaced, caused by the unprovoked attack by Russian armed forces on their country, towns and homes.”
The route will take in Bailiff Bridge, Birkby Lane, Scholes Lane, Westfield Lane and Whitehall Road then back to the church on Lower Wyke Lane. Refreshments will be served at the Sunday School for when people have finished the walk.
