A police officer carries out a speed check as part of the Keighley NPT operation
NEIGBOURHOOD Policing Team (NPT) officers in Keighley have had a “busy week” after carrying out a number of speed-watches in the area.
Officers are making attempts to clamp down on speeding in both Keighley and Ilkley and are keeping an eye on things at various times throughout the day and night, they said.
Three traffic offence reports were issued for speeding as part of operations yesterday, police added.
This week, officers have conducted speed-watches in the following areas:
- Fell Lane, Keighley
- West Lane, Keighley (at “several points”)
- Oakworth Road, Keighley
- Bolling Road, Ilkley
- Parish Ghyll, Ilkley
- Cowpasture Road, Ilkley
More speed-watches are likely to follow in the coming days, police also said.
