A MAN has had to pay thousands of pounds after his two dogs injured someone whilst being dangerously out of control in a Bradford play park.
Mujahid Ali, of Haworth Road, was forced to pay £2,500 in compensation following the attack by his German Shepherds which happened in the park at Scotchman Road on September 26, 2021.
The court outlined conditions which must be adhered to or else the black and brown dogs will be put down.
It said: "Unless the dog(s) is kept under proper control, by being securely held on a lead by a person who is not less than 16 years old, and it is not left alone in the company of children under the age of 16 years or any vulnerable adult without direct supervision from a responsible adult, and it is kept securely in a place from which they cannot escape, it must be destroyed."
The 37-year-old, who indicated a plea of guilty, was also fined £310.
He did not have to pay a victim surcharge or court costs as the composition took priority.
Ali will pay £2,810 in £40 monthly instalments, beginning on April 20.
The case was heard at Bradford Magistrates Court on March 23.
