A MAN has appealed for the return of his motorbike which was stolen while he was working at a Bradford hospital.

Ellis Taylor, of Allerton, had his blue Yamaha MT 125cc motorbike stolen while he was on a shift as a cleaner at Bradford Royal Infirmary (BRI).

He chained up the bike to a post in the Smith Lane entrance car park at the hospital.

Mr Taylor launched an appeal to trace the motorbike on social media.

It was stolen at around 7pm on Monday, April 4.

Mr Taylor posted on Facebook with a few pictures of the bike: “Can people keep an eye out for a blue Yamaha MT 125cc reg YM17 WUO.

“Got pinched from Bradford royal infirmary smith lane between 5pm and 7pm.

He added: “The bikes are going for around £2,000. I was working at the time.

“It’s hard to explain how I feel about it. You don’t think it would happen to you. It’s one of those things.”

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “Police took a report of a theft of motor vehicle at around 7pm on April 4 from Smith Lane Car Park.

“Enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with info is asked to contact police on 101 quoting crime reference 13220180661.”
