A YOUNG boy has appeared in court accused of damaging a wall.
The 14-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons due to his age, appeared before Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court on Monday, March 28.
Court documents state that he “without lawful excuse, damaged a solid stone masonry wall of a value of £1,000 belonging to 387 Cutler Heights Lane, Bradford, intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged”.
The incident is said to have happened on February 10 this year.
The boy denies the offence and will next appear before magistrates on June 8.
Court documents state that he was remanded on unconditional bail until his next appearance later this year.
