POLICE have addressed the safety concerns as to why they were called to a block of flats on North Street, yesterday.
It is believed that a woman fell from an upper balcony and suffered a serious injury, which she continues to be treated for.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: Police were called to a block of flats on North Street, Bradford at about 12pm on Friday following a report of a concern for the safety of a woman there.
"Emergency services attended and located a woman who was seriously injured, following what is believed to be a fall from an upper balcony.
"Enquiries remain ongoing and the woman continues to be treated in hospital and is in a serious condition.
"There are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances at this time."
