BRADFORD Council has introduced changes to disabled parking areas in the district.

The council has announced an order, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, for the following:

* Revocation of Blue Badge Parking Space at 81 Woodroyd Road;

* No Waiting at Any Time on a length of Ryan Street, St Stephens Road and Manchester Road;

* No Waiting at Any Time at the junction of Highfield Avenue for 10 metres and for 10 metres to the left of Highfield Road and for 20 metres to the right of Highfield Road;

* No Waiting at Any Time on a length of Cictoria Road, Eccleshill extended by 15 metres;

* No Waiting at Any Time at existing dropped kerb on Fagley Road;

* Blue Badge Holders Parking Spaces outside 197 and 203 Folkestone Street;

* Disabled Person’s Parking Space outside 1 Sandford Road;

* Revocation of existing double yellow lines with No Waiting, Mon-Fri 7am-4pm on Reuben Goldberg Lane;

* Revocation of Permit Parking on Napier Terrace;

* No Waiting at Any Time on a length of Henford Drive - access to the Greenway;

* Revocation of double yellow lines to replace with No Stopping, Mon-Fri on Entrance Marking on Undercliffe Lane; and

* No Waiting at Any Time on a length of Station Road and Poplars Park Road.

* PARKING restrictions have been introduced outside a Bradford school.

Bradford Council has announced the following road traffic measures at Eden Boys Leadership Academy in Longlands:

* No Waiting at any time on a length of Syedna Way, the junction of Syedna Way and Ingleby Street and the junction of Rosse Street and Syedna Way and on a length of Thornton Road

* Limited Waiting restrictions Monday-Friday, 7.30am to 8.30am and 2.30pm to 3.30pm on lengths of Syedna Way

* No Loading time change to Mon-Fri 7.30am to 9.30am and 2pm to 4.30pm on lengths of Ingleby Road and Thornton Road.

The Order came into force this week. * PART of Canal road is to be closed for water works to be carried out. Bradford Council will close the road from its junction with Balme Street to a point outside No. 24 Canal Road. Alternative routes for traffic affected will be via Canal Road (unaffected section), Holdsworth Street, Bolton Road, Balme Street and vice versa. The order will come into effect at 7pm on Monday until 6am on Tuesday.

* A SECTION of Rockhill Lane in Bierley is to be closed for electrical works to be carried out. The order will affect the length of Rockhill Lane from its junction with Bierley Lane to its junction with Wharfedale Road. Alternative routes for traffic will be via Wharfedale Road, Merrydale Road, Staithgate Lane, Rooley Lane, Bierley Lane and vice versa. The order runs from 9.30am to 3.30pm on Monday until Wednesday, April 6.
