SNOW and hail showers in Bradford are expected to leave treacherous icy conditions.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for the city and its suburbs and surrounding areas.
It runs from 8pm yesterday evening until 10am today.
The weather warning itself covers Bradford, its east suburbs, Leeds and Huddersfield.
The showers could lead to icy surfaces, with possible travel disruption.
What to expect according to The Met Office
- Probably some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths, leading to an increased chance of accidents or injuries
- Some higher elevation roads may be also affected by snowfall, resulting in longer journey times
