A POPULAR restaurant has had to close this evening due to "unplanned works".
Prashad, on Whitehall Road, Drighlington, made the announcement on Facebook.
The post said: "There’s some unplanned work happening in the area, so unfortunately we’ll be closed this evening We’re reaching out to all our bookings and hopefully we can get you booked in again for another day.
"Minal’s food is worth the wait, we promise. Fingers crossed the team of workers out there will be all sorted and ready for a cup of Ginger Chai by the end of the day, so we can get back to normal tomorrow.
"We’ll keep you updated!"
Last month, the restaurant, which was founded in Bradford, retained its Bib Gourmand rating.
The Bib Gourmand is handed to restaurants that fall just below earning a coveted Michelin Star for their food and dining experience, with Michelin saying it is a “just-as-esteemed rating that recognizes friendly establishments that serve good food at moderate prices”.
