A BRADFORD man has appeared in court charged with being equipped with items for theft.
Mohammed Aslam Khan, 57, of Leeds Road, faced one offence of going equipped for theft – not motor vehicle.
The charge said not being at his place of abode that Khan had with him articles for use in the course of, or in connection with, theft, namely wire cutters and screwdriver.
He was found with the items at Segment in GA Manningham, Midland Road, Manningham, Bradford, on February 28, 2022.
Khan was given a six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £22 victim surcharge and pay £85 costs for the offence. The total sum to be recovered is £107.
Khan pleaded guilty to the charge when he was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on March 18, 2022.
