A DRUNK driver was arrested for a string of offences after nearly hitting a police car in Bradford.
The man failed to stop following the incident which led to a pursuit where he was eventually caught.
He was arrested for dangerous driving, having no licence, having no insurance and drink driving.
In the early hours of Sunday morning, officers on patrol in Buttershaw were stunned when a Ford Focus almost collided with their car.
Police told the driver to stop but he decided to drive off leading to a pursuit ensuing.
The driver then abandoned the vehicle and his mates and ran off on foot before being captured.
At the time of his arrest, he was almost three times over the drink-driving limit.
