BINGLEY-based retailer Damart has sent crates of clothing and products, plus donations from staff, to support Ukraine.
Members of the team across Damart’s two sites pulled together and dedicated their time to ensure warm clothing, hygiene products, food and other necessities were supplied for all generations, with help from charity Focus4Hope.
Patricia Smith from Damart said: “It has been heart-breaking to hear what is unfolding in the Ukraine and we wanted to do what we could to provide aid to those who have had to flee their homes.
"Within only a few days we had around 3,000 Damart products, plus crates of personal donations from colleagues.”
The items have landed in Poland and Focus4Hope said: "Thank you to our fantastic community for your overwhelming donations."
