DETECTIVES are continuing to investigate a serious house fire in which two people have lost their lives in Bradford.
Bradford District CID is working with West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service to investigate the cause of a fire on Ringwood Road, Bradford on Monday morning.
Police were called by the ambulance and fire services to the property at about 6.38am.
Attending firefighters located the bodies of a 63-year-old woman and a 68-year-old man inside.
They were confirmed to have died at the scene and post mortems will be conducted to establish a cause of death.
DI Suzanne Hall of Bradford District, CID, said: "We are continuing to investigate this serious fire in which a man and woman have lost their lives.
"The cause of the blaze remains under investigation but is being treated as suspicious.
"Officers are not currently for anyone else in connection with the matter and a full investigation with partners will take place into the circumstances of what took place.”
