REPORTS were received last night of three motorcycles being stolen from Halifax Road, Buttershaw.
Within 15 minutes, officers spotted the culprits working on them in Harold Park. They dumped the two pictured and made off on other bikes. Officers nearby on Halifax Road were guided to them and they were tracked to Buttershaw estate where another moped was abandoned.
In the midst of it all, they left a trail of clues for officers to pick up and examine for forensics.
Pleasing work between Neighbourhood and Response officers working together to get three stolen bikes back and evidence collected to hopefully identify the suspects.
Anyone with information relating to the thefts or where the remaining stolen motorcycles are being stored are urged to contact police utilising www.westyorkshire.police.uk contact options or by contacting Crimestoppers anonymously.
