YEADON Town Hall will host a two-day celebration of beer and music with all proceeds to be split between three great causes: Zarach, the Ukraine Appeal and Yeadon Town Hall.

Zarach is a charity on a mission to end child bed poverty, delivering beds and basics to children in Leeds who are currently without a proper bed of their own. No child should go to sleep hungry, cold and uncomfortable, yet bed poverty affects thousands of children in our local area and Zarach aims to raise awareness of this crisis. With additional funds, the charity will be able to support even more families living in poverty.

The Ukraine Appeal helps to provide essential care and support to families fleeing the conflict in Ukraine. With food, water, shelter and protection so desperately needed by those leaving their home country with nothing but the belongings they could carry, it’s vitally important humanitarian causes receive the support and funds they need to be able to help.

Yeadon Town Hall is a non-profit organisation that provides activities and events for the local community, in addition to welcoming dozens of community organisations and societies throughout the year. The venue is a firm favourite throughout Aireborough and additional funding will help to ensure the Town Hall is able to further expand and enhance its facilities.

The Beer & Music Festival will run from noon to 10pm on both Friday, April 8th and Saturday, April 9th, with live music happening from 5pm each evening.

Visitors will be able to choose from a selection of real ales, world lagers and ciders while enjoying live music from a brilliant line-up of local talent. Musicians and bands performing throughout the event include Dan Burnett, The Resistance, Easily Distracted, Motor City Blue and many more.

Jamie Hudson, Director of Yeadon Town Hall, said: “If there’s one thing better than a beer and music festival, it’s one that raises money for some great causes. As the Beer & Music Festival’s venue, we’re so proud to be involved in an event that can truly make a difference to the community while also providing a great evening out!”

Entry to the Beer & Music Festival is £2, with beer vouchers costing £10. Tickets and vouchers will be available to buy on the door on 8th & 9th April. For more information about the festival and the Town Hall’s Spring / Summer programme, visit www.yeadontownhall.co.uk.
