A FIRE-damaged Grade II listed house in the Bradford district has sold for more than double its guide price at auction.
The three-bedroom terraced property on Town End Road, in Clayton, sold an auction earlier this week.
The house was advertised at a £45,000 plus fees guide price but was sold at Wednesday’s auction, run by Auction House West Yorkshire, for £91,000.
The website said: "This grade II listed three-bedroom terrace has suffered from some fire damage, but is sure to whet the appetites of any developers looking for their next project.
“The property is located in the popular village of Clayton to the West of Bradford city centre at the time of writing, was the cheapest property listed on Rightmove within half a mile.”
