IT’S that time of year when we celebrate our beloved mums and let them know how much they mean to us.
Ahead of Mother’s Day tomorrow, Telegraph & Argus readers have been sharing photos of their mums and telling us why they are so special.

"I just want to say a massive thank you for everything you have done," says Jodie. "We will celebrate Mother's Day by going for a meal."

"No matter what obstacles are put in her way she will always overcome them with the biggest smile on her face. She has helped me find my way through life and is the best nana ever to my two children. If it wasn't for my mum I wouldn't be who I am or where I am today. One in a million.
"For Mother's Day I am going to take her the biggest bunch of flowers and yummy chocolates and spend the day with her."

"Due to a family member sadly passing, she took in other family members and treated them like there were her own. Treated us all the same.
"She loves her job and practically works seven days a week. Even though we tell her she needs a day off she doesn't want to let her pupils down. Also she makes the best roast potatoes hands down. In my eyes she's my hero.
"We'd love to take her out for a Mother's Day meal but unfortunately she's working."

"She's there for everyone and helps her friends. As a mum she's there for me and her granddaughters and grand-dogs. She gets on with my mother in law and has a fab time visiting her in Portsmouth.
"I'll probably celebrate Mother's Day with a few gins with my mum."

"My dad was diagnosed with cancer in October 2021 and she still chose to put everybody's emotions before hers, even though I knew deep down she was struggling mentally with the diagnosis and the changes it would bring.
"On Mother's Day I will be seeing her at her place with her presents and card and a cuppa with her grandchildren."

"She went on to have a little boy of her own and is step mum to her partner's child. She does everything for us and always puts us all first. She deserves the best, we love her so much.
"On Mother's Day I am going to babysit so she can go out, as she never goes out."
