TWO men were arrested after police discovered a cannabis farm in a Bradford mill.

Officers swarmed Essex Mill, Essex Street, off Wakefield Road, when carrying out a warrant this morning.

It is understood the police arrived at the scene before 9am and upstairs power was turned off by Northern Powergrid.

At around 11am, a passing member of the public said: "The two large police vans have now gone, but four police cars are present and three police officers are positioned around the location.

"Looks serious whatever it is."

Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing.

A spokesperson from the force added: "Police carried out a warrant at Essex Mill, Essex Street, Bradford this morning.

"A cannabis farm was located, and two men have been arrested.

"Enquiries are ongoing."
