Little Red Riding Hood

Where: The Little Theatre, Malt Shovel Yard, Westfield Lane, Bradford, BD10 8QB

What: The Idle and Thackley Theatre Group proudly present their 32nd Annual Pantomime "Little Red Riding Hood" by Sara Temple. Tickets are priced between £7 and £10.

Loosely based on the fairy tales of Charles Perrault and the Brothers Grimm, but with guest appearances from characters from other fairy tales and nursery rhymes, this is a traditional family panto. More information here.

Friday Friends, BDCFT, Well Together Service

When: 2pm-4pm

Where: St James Church, Bolton Road, West Yorkshire, BD2 4LG

What: This over 50s group meet up to every two weeks to share ideas and hobbies, have fun, chat and take afternoon tea.

Pinsuti Chamber Choir presents: Allegri 'Miserere' and Victoria 'Lamentations'

When: 7.30pm-9.30pm

Where: Christ Church, Cross Street, Skipton, North Yorkshire, BD23 2AH

What: A selection of some of the most beautiful choral music for Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, both early music and modern compositions.

CommUNIty Open Day - UNIfy Festival 2022

When: 11am-3pm

Where: University of Bradford, Richmond Road, West Yorkshire, BD7 1DP

What: Taking place on the University of Bradford campus, the CommUNIty Open day will be packed with activities for children, young people and adults. 

Explore Bradford’s iconic buildings using virtual reality, discuss whether space research makes Bradford a better place to live and create your own Bradford satellite.

Discover and share the foods, culture and heritage of Bradford’s sanctuary seekers, solve the crime scene escape room in the fastest time and experience activities that will help you understand the benefits of sustainable living.

Mother's Day Afternoon Tea

When: 12pm-5pm

Where: Best Western Bradford Guide Post Hotel, Common Road, Low Moor, BD12 0ST

What: Celebrate Mum and tuck into freshly cut sandwiches and mini wraps, mini savouries and pickles, sausage roll, cheese and onion lattice, Yorkshire cheese, freshly baked scones with cream and strawberry preserve, assorted mini desserts tea or coffee.

How does researching space make Bradford a better place to live? UNIfy Festival

When: 2.30pm-4pm

What: Free event. The University has recently announced significant funding to open Bradford Renduchintala Centre for Space but why do we need to research space? With other global issues such as climate change and health inequalities, should researching space take priority?

Brahms Requiem (Leeds Philharmonic Chorus)

When: 7.30pm-9.30pm

Where: Bradford Cathedral, 1 Stott Hill, BD1 4EH

What: Join the Leeds Philharmonic Chorus this spring for a beautiful performance of Brahms Requiem. This concert includes the chorus, two pianos and simple harp and timpani accompaniment, alongside Brahms St Anthony Variations for piano.

Tickets are just £20 plus a booking fee and can be booked via Eventbrite.
