A BRADFORD man has appeared in court charged with stealing T-shirts and wallets from a shop in the city centre.
Simon Greenough, 43, of Ayton Close, faced one charge of theft from a shop.
He stole four T-shirts and two wallets, to the value of £90, from HMV at The Broadway, on August 20, 2021.
He was ordered to pay £90 compensation, £85 costs and a £34 victim surcharge for the offence.
The total sum to be recovered is £209. The offence was committed contrary to the Theft Act 1968.
An application order was made by the court for benefits deductions following the hearing.
Greenough pleaded guilty to the theft from a shop offence when he was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on March 11, 2022.
