A SISTERHOOD Open Mic session is being held later this month.
The interfaith Sisterhood all-female event will, say organisers, 'embrace the beautiful month of April and the special month of Ramadan and Lent.
'Sharing poems on your faith, culture and identity.
Lets get to know each other through your stories and poetry.'
Women from across the Bradford district are invited to come and join the event to be held on Friday April 29 at City Library, Aldermanbury, Centenary Square Bradford.
"Even if this is your first time performing, you will be welcomed and supported in this beautiful space. This is your space, created for you," organisers say.
"So take that opportunity and join us, you wont regret it."
Snacks and drinks will be provided on the evening, though anyone attending should feel free to contribute too, if they so wish.
Anyone with any questions about the event should get in touch via spokepoetryhub@gmail.com
The open mic session will be held at City Library, 9 Aldermanbury, Centenary Square Bradford BD1 1SD, from 7pm to 9pm on April 29 .
