Emergency services respond after city centre crash last night
EMERGENCY services were in attendance after a road traffic collision in Wakefield last night.
A police cordon was in place and Westgate End was closed as a result.
The collision is believed to have happened on Marygate, near the Yorkshire Barber shop on Cross Square.
There are unconfirmed reports that a pedestrian was in collision with a vehicle.
The full details are yet to be established, and West Yorkshire Police has been contacted for further information.
