THERE was an emergency services presence in Bradford in the early hours of this morning after a multi-vehicle collision saw a car crash through a takeaway window.
Leeds Road was partially closed in both directions at around 2am today, after a car crashed into the Kebabism eatery.
The driver of the car was taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
Firefighters, police and the ambulance service were at the scene, and a police cordon was also put in place.
This morning, a West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Emergency services were called to business premises on Leeds Road, Bradford, shortly after 2am this morning (19/3/22) following reports that a car had collided with the building.
"The driver of the vehicle was taken to hospital with injuries that are not thought to be life-threatening.
"Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or the circumstances leading up to it is asked to call West Yorkshire Police on 101, or online via www.westyorkshire.police.uk/101livechat, quoting reference 183 of 19/3."
