A major fault with the railway signalling system has caused the cancellation of some trains in the Bradford district.
The problem has occurred in the Huddersfield area and means this morning's trains between Bradford Interchange and Huddersfield are not able to run.
Bus replacements are being laid on, including for the 9.40am service from the Interchange to Huddersfield.
A tweet by MetroTravelNews said: "Due to a fault with the signalling system at #Huddersfield all lines are closed.
"Train services running through this station will be cancelled or delayed. Disruption is expected until 12:00."
All services through Huddersfield are currently affected, including the TransPennine route between Leeds and Manchester, as well as the Penistone branch line towards Sheffield.
If the problems persist, the disruption could affect those travelling by train to this afternoon's big Championship football match between Huddersfield Town and Bournemouth.
