A CHARITY car wash will be taking place this weekend to raise money for a new Mosque in the BD2 area.
The car wash will be at Prestige Hall, Ventnor Street, BD3 9JP, from 10pm till 4pm on Saturday, March, 19.
This is one of the many fundraisers over the next couple of months as a target of £300,000 has been set to refurbish and install facilities in the new Mosque.
Shummell Uddin, one of the organisers of the car wash said:" We've got a couple of things planned now for Ramadan and Eid to help raise the funds.
"This won't just be a Mosque, it will have a community element to it and we hope to get burial washing facilities."
The former The Horse and Farrier pub will be converted into a mosque and work will start in May.
A JustGiving page has been set up for anyone wishing to donate.
