A BRADFORD man has been jailed for illegally distributing an indecent image of a female and possession of cannabis and cocaine.

Delvyne Duggan, 25, of Roundwood Glen, Ravenscliffe, faced charges of distributing an indecent photograph/pseudo-photograph of a female and possession with intent to supply cannabis and possession of cocaine.

The distributing an indecent image charge also led to police carrying out a subsequent search of his home address.

During a search of his bedroom, officers found 261 grams of cannabis, which was valued at a total of £2,237, and a small amount of cocaine. Weighing scales and two mobile phones were also found.

The offences date back to June 2020.

Duggan pleaded guilty to the offences at an earlier hearing.

He was jailed for 16 months for the offences.

In mitigation, his arrest had been a ‘wake-up call’ for Duggan, Bradford Crown Court heard on March 18.

At the time of the offences, he was struggling with drug use and sold cannabis at a relatively low level to supplement his own habit.

He no longer uses cocaine and has significantly reduced his cannabis use.

Recorder Jason Pitter QC also placed Duggan under a notification requirement for him to inform police of his address for the next 10 years.
