A MAN has appeared in court charged with stealing vitamins from a Bradford district shop.
Christian Pearson, 41, of Church Street, Keighley, faced one charge of theft from a shop, contrary to the Theft Act 1968.
He stole a number of vitamin products, to the value of £96.96, from Boots at Market Square, Shipley, on January 27, 2022.
He was given a 12-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £22 victim surcharge.
A collection order was made during the sentencing hearing. An application was made by the courts for benefit deductions from Pearson’s account. The total sum to be recovered was £107.00.
Pearson pleaded guilty to the charge when he was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on March 1, 2022.
