A MAN was arrested following a large police presence on a street last night.
Police vans and a helicopter were said to be in attendance after reports that a white van crashed into parked cars in Pudsey.
The incident - which is believed to have taken place on The Lanes, at its junction with Clifton Road - was reported to have happened at around 9.15pm.
Another incident was also reported in the area, where a police presence was seen outside the Sainsbury’s Local store on Chapeltown, around the same time.
There are unconfirmed reports that a police chase had unfolded along Cemetery Road and ended with the van crashing.
The full details of both incidents are yet to be established, and West Yorkshire Police has been contacted for further information.
