A MAN from Shipley is due in court today accused of having a knuckleduster and a Taser in his possession at Leeds Bradford Airport.
Arshad Khan, 49, of Wycliffe Gardens, Shipley, is due to appear at Leeds Magistrates' Court charged with four offences allegedly committed at Leeds Bradford Airport.
These including having a weapon which discharges electricity - commonly referred to as a Taser - along with a knuckleduster.
It's alleged that on October 12, at Leeds Bradford Airport in Yeadon, Khan was in possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, namely a knuckleduster.
He is also accused of having a weapon for the discharge of an electrical incapacitation device.
He alos allegedly was caught smoking while aboard a Jet2 plane LS476, and also stands accused of intentionally interfering with the performance of an aircraft crew member's duty on the same plane.
Khan is due to appear in court this afternoon over the alleged offences.
