BEER lovers in Arthington are being invited along to the inaugural event of a new club.

Arthington Beer Club will host its first ever evening event in the village hall between 4pm and 10pm on March 26.

Local breweries have been invited along, as well as other food and drink providers, to showcase their products.

A spokesman said: "Our idea is to invite a different local brewery each month, as well as have local food trucks, who can be based in the Village Hall car park to keep us all fed.

"More information is available on our facebook and instagram accounts (search Arthington Beer Club), as well as on the Village Hall website (https://www.arthingtonvh.org/abc). As a community spirited idea, any profits we make, will be given to the Village Hall to help with its continued upkeep. The new and local Shadow Brewing will be joining us for our first event, the Yorkshire Doughbox will be on had with their lovely pizzas.

"This is a new regular event aimed at bringing our village together over a good pint."

White House Distillery, which is nestled below Otley Chevin, will also be taking part in the first event.
