POLICE were in disbelief that they seized two cars in subsequent days for the same offence on the same Bradford road.

Both incidents occurred on Thornton Road on Saturday and Sunday.

On Saturday night, a driver thought he could use a trade plate to drop his friend off at the train station.

Not only is that an invalid reason to use them, but the plates were also expired.

The driver was reported to the DVLA for driving with no Vehicle Excise License (VEL) and misuse of trade plates.

While on Sunday, an employee's company car was seized after they too did not have a VEL.
