A SIMPLE shopping trip to Forster Square Retail Park in Bradford this afternoon turned out to be a nightmare experience, with queueing traffic forcing one local resident to give it up as a "bad job".
The T&A reader, who wanted to remain anonymous, described the traffic near the retail park as "absolutely horrendous".
The resident said: "I was hoping to do some shopping at Forster Square but gave it up as a bad job in the end as it was so busy and I was worried it would be even worse as the afternoon went on.
"You could hear people beeping their horns in frustration and there were queues all over the car park to get out."
The traffic is believed to have been exacerbated by the closure of Valley Road due to gas works.
I think due to valley road being currently closed
