A FESTIVAL being held in Shipley today has got the weekend off to a good start.
The Sup beer festival, which features food, beer and music, in Shipley Market Square, has been well received, according to Bradford Council which has worked in collaboration with Bradford events company Raven Staging to organise the event.
Bradford Council tweeted today: "A glorious day in Shipley, beautiful weather, great people, delicious drinks and food. Sup festival is a great addition to this weekend's high street."
Today's event will run until 10pm and a similar Sup beer festival will be held in Bingley next Saturday.
As part of the Spring Back 2022 campaign, Bradford Council organised for the pavements in Shipley to be jet-washed and extra litter bins and benches were also be installed. The same will be done to prepare for the Bingley event, which runs from noon to 10pm next Saturday.
