A BRADFORD car retailer offered one of its vehicles to help a charity deliver food parcels to those in need.

Mercedes-Benz of Bradford, operated by Pendragon’s Stratstone brand, partnered with The Al Mubarak Foundation to support the running of The Outreach Hub project.

The Outreach Hub is a food charity that assists with the daily needs of the community and is operated by the Al Mubarak Foundation, an organisation founded to work alongside communities and provide humanitarian assistance around the globe.

Bradford Telegraph and Argus:

The partnership saw Stratstone, based on Thornton Road, supply The Outreach Hub team with a Mercedes-Benz E-Class for a week last month to aid the charity's operations, including the delivery of food parcels to those most in need.

Saf Laher, Director of The Outreach Hub and Founder of the Al Mubarak Foundation, said: “During the third week of the opening of The Outreach Hub in Dewsbury, we helped 41 individuals with their daily needs.

"Hot food and drinks were served on a cold night. Thanks to Stratstone Mercedes-Benz of Bradford who provided an E-Class for the week to deliver food packs which has made a huge difference in helping others.”

Stratstone Mercedes-Benz of Bradford spokesman said: “We are proud supporters of the great work being done in our local community by the Al Mubarak Foundation.

"The Outreach Hub is a fantastic community project and our team were only too willing to get behind it.”
