A DRIVER saw police seize his car after failing to provide proof he had paid road tax.
The silver Audi was spotted on Otley Road for having no Vehicle Excise Licence (road tax) since June 2021.
The owner insisted he had paid for it but was unable to show that roadside.
The car was seized on behalf of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency and the individual was also reported.
West Yorkshire Police - Shipley tweeted: "Otley Road. This car has been showing as having no Vehicle Excise Licence (aka road tax) since June 2021.
"Owner is insistent he had paid but unable to offer any proof at the roadside.
"Vehicle seized on behalf of the DVLA and driver reported to them #OpSteerside"
